Responsible use

  • Ensure that your video does not feature material that others may find offensive, for example:
    • No rude words.
    • No racist comments.
    • No threatening or inflammatory language.
    • No violent imagery.
    • No illegal activity.
  • Ensure you only upload videos that you have created or have permission to upload.

  • If we feel any video is offensive or irrelevant to the projects aims we have the right to remove your video from the site and exclude you from the competition.

  • You are solely responsible for ensuring that you save a back up copy of your film (We may need a higher resolution at a later date if your film is short listed).
  • In order to upload a video on to the YouTube site you will have to create a YouTube account. It is important that you keep your password secure and do not give the information to anybody else.

  • To register for a YouTube account you must be aged 13 or above. If you are younger than this you will need to ask a parent/guardian/teacher to upload your video on your behalf.

  • Once you have uploaded your film it is your YouTube account name that will be shown to others not your name or email address. Ensure that your username does not give too much personal information away.
